Craig Kelly (born September 29, 1963) is an Australian politician and former actor. He represented the Division of Hughes as a member of the Liberal Party and later United Australia Party MP from 2010 to 2022. Kelly began his political career after being elected to the Australian House of Representatives in the 2010 federal election. In February 2021, he resigned from the Liberal Party and became an independent politician. However, in August of the same year, he joined the United Australia Party and was appointed as their leader. Prior to his political career, Kelly was known for his acting roles. However, he has faced criticism for spreading misinformation and conspiracy theories on social media.
