Craig Ricci Shaynak, born on July 14, 1969, is an American character actor recognized for his work in Chicago and Los Angeles theater, as well as national television and film. Hailing from Northport, New York, Shaynak completed his education at the University of Chicago, graduating in 1991 with a degree in Medieval Drama. He gained early experience by producing plays with dramatist David Bevington during his university years. Shaynak's theatrical debut after college was in The Mystery Cycle, an American adaptation of the Wakefield Cycle. Since then, he has been actively involved in various theater productions in Chicago and has appeared in movies, television shows, and stage performances at numerous festivals. In 2007, Shaynak established Kingswell Productions, a production company. Notably, he spearheaded the 2010 Los Angeles production of The Pharmacist, a one-woman show that debuted in Australia.
