Creed Bratton Biography
Creed Bratton, born William Charles Schneider on February 8, 1943, is an American actor, singer, and musician. He gained recognition as a former member of the rock band the Grass Roots. However, Bratton is best known for portraying a fictionalized version of himself on the NBC sitcom The Office. His portrayal on the show earned him five nominations for the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series. Originally from Los Angeles, Bratton grew up in Coarsegold, California. He adopted his stage name while traveling the world as a musician and has had a successful career in both music and acting.
