Crispin Freeman

Crispin Freeman is an American voice actor, voice director, and screenwriter best known for his work in English-language dubs of Japanese anime, animation, and video games. He has voiced numerous iconic characters, including Zelgadis Graywords in Slayers, Kyon in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and Alucard in Hellsing. Freeman's notable TV show appearances include voicing Togusa in the Ghost in the Shell franchise, Itachi Uchiha in Naruto, and Shizuo Heiwajima in Durarara!! He was born in Chicago, the oldest of three children, and graduated from the Latin School of Chicago in 1990. He earned a BA from Williams College in theater and computer science, and an MFA in acting from Columbia University. Freeman has also performed on Broadway.
