Crispin Glover Biography
Crispin Hellion Glover (born April 20, 1964) is an American actor, filmmaker, and artist. Known for his eccentric character roles, he gained recognition for his breakout role as George McFly in Back to the Future (1985), followed by his performance as Layne in River's Edge (1986). Throughout the 1990s, Glover appeared in smaller but notable roles such as Cousin Del in Wild at Heart (1990), Andy Warhol in The Doors (1991), Bobby McBurney in What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993), and the Train Fireman in Dead Man (1995). In the 2000s, he transitioned to starring in more mainstream films, including Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle (2003), Willard (2003), Beowulf (2007), Alice in Wonderland (2010), and Hot Tub Time Machine (2010). Since 2017, Glover has portrayed Mr. World in the TV series American Gods.
