Crystal the Monkey Biography
Crystal the Monkey, born on May 6, 1994, is a female tufted capuchin monkey and animal actress. She was acquired and trained by Birds & Animals Unlimited, the largest supplier of animals in Hollywood. Crystal's acting career began in 1997 when she appeared as a baby monkey in Disney's film George of the Jungle. She is best known for her roles as the annoying monkey Dexter in the Night at the Museum franchise and as a drug-dealing monkey in The Hangover Part II. Crystal also portrayed pet monkey Bennie in Steven Spielberg's semi-autobiographical film The Fabelmans in 2022. In 2012, she played Dr. Rizzo on the sitcom Animal Practice.
