Crystal Yu Biography
Crystal Yu is a Hong Kong-born actress known for her work in television, film, and stage. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Lily Chao on the British BBC medical drama Casualty, a role she played from 2013 to 2017. Yu began her career in London after moving there at the age of 11 to attend the Elmhurst School of Dance and Performing Arts. In addition to her acting career, Yu is actively involved with The Royal Academy of Dance and The Jack Petchey Foundation, where she brings dance programs to schools. Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, Yu has received nominations for her performances and has appeared in popular shows like Doctor Who and The Sandman.
