Cub Swanson

Kevin Luke Swanson, better known as Cub Swanson, is an American professional mixed martial artist. Born on November 2, 1983, in Palm Springs, California, Swanson competes in the Featherweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). With a professional career that began in 2004, Swanson holds the record for the most post-fight bonus awards in the division, with a total of eight. Throughout his career, he has been awarded the prestigious 'Fight of the Night' honors ten times, including during his time with the WEC. Swanson's nickname 'Cub' originated from his brother, who couldn't pronounce his real name. Raised by his father's cousin after his father's death and his mother's struggles with drug addiction, Swanson has overcome adversity to establish himself as a prominent figure in the world of mixed martial arts.
