Cush Jumbo

Cush Jumbo (born September 23, 1985) is a British actress and writer. She gained recognition for her role as attorney Lucca Quinn in the CBS drama series The Good Wife (2015–2016) and its spin-off The Good Fight (2017–2021). Jumbo also appeared as DC Bethany Whelan in the ITV crime drama series Vera (2012, 2015–16) and as Lois Habiba in the third series of Doctor Who spin-off Torchwood in 2009. In the theatre world, Jumbo received a Laurence Olivier Award nomination for her performance as Mark Antony in Julius Caesar (2013) and wrote and performed in the play Josephine and I. She made her Broadway debut in The River (2014) and returned to the London stage in 2021 as Hamlet, earning another Olivier nomination.
