Cybill Shepherd Biography
Cybill Lynne Shepherd is an American actress and former model. She made her film debut and gained recognition with her role as Jacy Farrow in the drama film The Last Picture Show (1971). Shepherd went on to appear in notable films such as The Heartbreak Kid (1972), Taxi Driver (1976), and Alice (1990). On television, she played Colleen Champion in the drama series The Yellow Rose (1983) and gained widespread acclaim for her role as Madeline Hayes in the comedy-drama series Moonlighting (1985–1989), earning two Golden Globe Awards. Shepherd also starred in the sitcom Cybill (1995–1998) and had recurring roles in The L Word (2007–2009).
