Calvin Cylk Cozart, born on February 1, 1960, is an American actor, director, writer, and producer. With a career spanning over 30 films and 20 television shows, Cozart has established himself as a versatile personality in the entertainment industry. Born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, Cozart is of African American and Cherokee descent. He excelled in football and basketball during his high school years and continued his basketball career on a scholarship at King College in Bristol, Tennessee. However, a foot injury ended his aspirations of playing professional basketball. Cozart gained recognition for his basketball skills showcased in the film White Men Can't Jump, where he starred alongside Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson. Prior to his acting career, Cozart achieved success as a model in Miami, Florida.
