Cynthia Ashperger

Cynthia Ashperger (born May 4, 1963) is a Croatian-Canadian actress known for her work in film, television, and stage. Born in Zagreb, she began her acting career in Yugoslavia and gained recognition for her roles in films like S.P.U.K. In 1987, she met Canadian director Allan Eastman and later married him. During the Yugoslav Wars, she moved to Canada permanently in 1995. Ashperger has appeared in a variety of stage productions, including 'Out of Spite' and 'Not Spain'. She has also had television roles in popular shows like 'Degrassi' and 'ZOS: Zone of Separation'. Ashperger received a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in 2016.
