Cyrus Vance Jr.

Cyrus Roberts Vance Jr. (born June 14, 1954) is an American attorney and politician. He served as the District Attorney of New York County, also known as the Manhattan District Attorney. Prior to his political career, Vance was a principal partner at the law firm of Morvillo, Abramowitz, Grand, Iason, Anello, & Bohrer, P.C. He is the son of Cyrus Vance Sr., a former Secretary of State. Born and raised in New York City, Vance attended Buckley and Groton Schools before graduating from Yale University. He later earned his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center. Vance did not seek reelection in 2021 and is currently a partner at Baker McKenzie.
