Damian Lewis

Damian Watcyn Lewis (born February 11, 1971) is a British actor, presenter, and producer. He gained recognition for his role as U.S. Army Major Richard Winters in the HBO miniseries Band of Brothers. Lewis received critical acclaim and awards, including a Primetime Emmy and a Golden Globe, for his portrayal of U.S. Marine Gunnery Sergeant Nicholas Brody in the Showtime series Homeland. He was also nominated for his performance as Henry VIII in Wolf Hall. Lewis appeared as Bobby Axelrod in the Showtime series Billions and had a role in the film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Born in London, Lewis identifies himself as 'London Welsh' and comes from a family with a strong heritage in politics and business.
