Damian Marley, born on 21 July 1978, is a Jamaican DJ, singer, lyricist, and rapper. He is the youngest son of reggae musician Bob Marley and Jamaican jazz singer Cindy Breakspeare, who was crowned Miss World in 1976. Damian is the only child born to Marley and Breakspeare, outside of Bob's marriage to Rita Marley. At the age of 13, he formed a musical group called the Shephards. Damian gained popularity with his nickname 'Junior Gong,' derived from his father's nickname 'Tuff Gong.' He has won four Grammy Awards for his contributions to the music industry. Damian Marley is known for his diverse musical styles and continues to make a significant impact in the music world.
