Damion Poitier (born June 4, 1976) is an American actor and stuntman. He gained recognition for his role as Chains in Payday 2. Poitier made an uncredited appearance as Thanos in The Avengers (2012), marking the character's first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He has also appeared in Captain America: Civil War, Star Trek, Jarhead, and Never Die Alone. Originally from Philadelphia, Poitier moved to Massachusetts during his early childhood. His interest in acting was sparked by seeing someone resembling his grandfather on television. He began acting in school and later worked as a scare actor at Spooky World.
