Damon Laurence Lindelof is an American screenwriter, comic book writer, and producer. He has received three Primetime Emmy Awards out of twelve nominations. Lindelof is best known for creating and showrunning critically acclaimed television series such as Lost (2004–2010), The Leftovers (2014–2017), Watchmen (2019), and the upcoming Mrs. Davis (2023). He has also written for shows like Nash Bridges (2000–2001) and Crossing Jordan (2001–2004). In addition to his television work, Lindelof has co-written several films including Cowboys & Aliens (2011), Prometheus (2012), Star Trek Into Darkness (2013), World War Z (2013), and Tomorrowland (2015). He was born on April 24, 1973, in Englewood, New Jersey.
