Damson Idris

Damson Alade-Bo Idris is a British actor known for his roles in television and film. Born on September 2, 1991, in Peckham, South-East London, to Nigerian parents, Idris is of Yoruba Nigerian descent and is the youngest of six children. Before pursuing acting, he had a passion for football and rugby, even meeting Queen Elizabeth II during her Golden Jubilee in 2002. After studying drama at Brunel University London, Idris further honed his skills at the Identity School of Acting in London, training alongside notable actors such as John Boyega, Letitia Wright, and Malachi Kirby. He gained recognition for his co-lead role in Netflix's sci-fi action film 'Outside the Wire' in 2021 and his portrayal of the main character in John Singleton's crime drama series 'Snowfall,' which aired from 2017 to 2023.
