Dan Abrams is an American media entrepreneur, television host, legal commentator, and author. Born on May 20, 1966, in Manhattan, New York City, Abrams is the son of Efrat and renowned attorney Floyd Abrams. He graduated from Riverdale Country School in 1984. Starting his career in 1994 as a reporter for Court TV, Abrams gained recognition for his coverage of high-profile cases such as the O. J. Simpson murder trial. He later went on to become the chief legal correspondent and analyst for NBC News, as well as the general manager of MSNBC. Abrams has hosted various shows including Nightline and Live PD on A&E. He currently hosts Dan Abrams Live on NewsNation and The Dan Abrams Show: Where Politics Meets The Law on SiriusXM's P.O.T.U.S. channel.
