    Dan Auerbach is an American musician, singer-songwriter, and record producer, born on May 14, 1979. He is best known as the guitarist and vocalist of the blues rock band, The Black Keys, hailing from Akron, Ohio. With his bandmate Patrick Carney, Auerbach has recorded and co-produced eleven studio albums. Apart from his work with The Black Keys, he has released two solo albums, 'Keep It Hid' in 2009 and 'Waiting on a Song' in 2017. Auerbach also formed a side project called the Arcs, which released albums like 'Yours, Dreamily' in 2015 and 'Electrophonic Chronic' in 2023. He owns the Easy Eye Sound recording studio in Nashville and a record label of the same name. Auerbach has produced records for various artists including Cage the Elephant, Dr. John, Lana Del Rey, and the Pretenders. He has won multiple Grammy Awards as a member of The Black Keys and received the 2013 Grammy Award for Producer of the Year, Non-Classical.
