Dan Carter

Daniel William Carter is a retired New Zealand rugby union player. Born on March 5, 1982, he played for the Crusaders in Super Rugby and represented the national team, the All Blacks. Carter is recognized as the highest point scorer in test match rugby and is widely regarded as one of the greatest first five-eighths (fly-halves) in the history of the sport. He received the International Rugby Board Player of the Year award in 2005, 2012, and 2015, making him one of only three players to win the prestigious honor three times. Throughout his career, Carter won three Super Rugby titles with the Crusaders and nine Tri-Nations/Rugby Championships with the All Blacks. He also played a vital role in New Zealand's Rugby World Cup victories in 2011 and 2015, making him one of the few players to achieve this feat.
