Dan Frazer

Dan Frazer (1921-2011) was an American actor known for his role as Captain Frank McNeil in the 1970s TV police drama Kojak. Born and raised in Manhattan, New York City, Frazer began his screen career in 1950 and served in the Special Services division of the United States Army during World War II. He appeared in various TV shows including The Phil Silvers Show, Car 54, Where Are You?, The Untouchables, and Law & Order. Frazer also had film roles, such as in Lilies of the Field (1963). Later in his career, he portrayed detective Dan McCloskey on As the World Turns. He passed away in 2011 at his home in Manhattan.
