Dan Gilvezan is an American actor known for his roles in various animated series. He was born on October 26, 1950, in St. Louis, Missouri. Gilvezan graduated from Webster University with a B.A. in drama and later earned a master's degree from The Catholic University of America. He began his acting career touring with the National Players company in Washington D.C. In the mid-to-late 1970s, he appeared in plays in summer stock, dinner theater, and children's theater. Gilvezan gained recognition for his voice-over work as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the 1981 animated series Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends and as Bumblebee in the original 1984-1987 The Transformers series.
