Dan Harmon
Daniel James Harmon (born January 3, 1973) is an American writer, producer, and actor. He is best known as the creator and producer of the NBC/Yahoo! Screen sitcom Community (2009–2015), and as the co-creator of the Adult Swim animated sitcom Rick and Morty (2013–present) alongside Justin Roiland. In addition, Harmon was the creator and host of the comedy podcast Harmontown (2012–2019) and co-founder of the alternative television network and website Channel 101 with Rob Schrab. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Harmon attended Brown Deer High School before studying at Marquette University and Glendale Community College. His experiences at Glendale Community College inspired the sitcom Community.
