Dan Vickrey

Dan Vickrey (born August 26, 1966) is an American musician and lead guitarist for the alternative rock band Counting Crows. He joined the band in 1994 and has since contributed as a guitarist, backing vocalist, and harmonist. Vickrey has co-written several hit songs with Counting Crows, earning him nominations for Grammy Awards, Golden Globe Awards, and an Oscar. He was also recognized by BMI for co-writing the song 'Accidentally in Love.' Vickrey's musical journey began at a young age, learning to play the guitar from his father and being influenced by artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Willie Nelson, and The Beatles.
