Dana Aliya Levinson (born 1992) is a television writer, actress, and Jewish transgender advocate. She is best known for her roles as Toni Rykener on the television series American Gods, Sadie Lipton in The Good Fight, and Hazel in the film Adam. Levinson was born in Great Neck, New York to a Latvian and Lithuanian Ashkenazi Jewish father and a German and French Ashkenazi, as well as Portuguese, Moroccan, and Turkish Sephardi descent mother. She has two brothers, Daniel Levinson, a published author, and Michael Levinson, a comedian and screenwriter. Levinson's maternal grandfather, Vic Cowen, was a comedy writer for Bob and Ray. Her Jewish upbringing has deeply influenced her creative perspective as a writer.
