Dana Barron

Dana Barron is an American actress known for her role as the original Audrey Griswold in the 1983 film National Lampoon's Vacation. She reprised the role in 2003's National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation 2: Cousin Eddie's Island Adventure for NBC television. Barron's father, Robert Weeks Barron, was a director of commercials and a Congregationalist church pastor. Barron has a sister named Allison, and she comes from a fifth-generation entertainment family. Her mother moved from Alabama to become an actress, and her grandfather was an opera singer. Barron began acting at age 10, appearing in TV commercials, and by age 13, she made her first film appearance in the horror film He Knows.
