Dane William DeHaan is an American actor known for his roles in various movies and TV shows. Born in 1986 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, DeHaan began his acting career with appearances in community theater and later attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. He gained recognition for his performances as Andrew Detmer in Chronicle (2012), Jason Glanton in The Place Beyond the Pines (2012), and Lucien Carr in Kill Your Darlings (2013). DeHaan also portrayed Harry Osborn / Green Goblin in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) and Valerian in Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (2017). In addition, he starred in the psychological romance horror miniseries Lisey's Story (2021) and appeared in The Staircase (2022), a true crime limited series adaptation.
