Daniel Benzali is a Brazilian-American stage, television, and film actor. He was born on January 20, 1946, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to Lee and Carlo Benzali. His father was a salesman and former actor in Brazilian and Yiddish theatre. In 1953, Benzali's family moved to the United States, and he was raised in Brooklyn, New York City. Benzali started his acting career in theatre, performing with prestigious theater companies such as the Royal Shakespeare Company in Great Britain. He also appeared in musical theater productions, including the London cast of Evita and the original Broadway cast of Sunset Boulevard. Benzali has also made notable appearances in film and television.
