He has appeared in various Off-Broadway, London, and U.S. regional theater productions, showcasing his talent and winning an Obie Award for his role in the Off-Broadway premiere of Passing Strange. Breaker gained further recognition for his portrayal of the Youth in the Broadway transfer of Passing Strange, earning him a Tony Award nomination. He also reprised this role in Spike Lee's film adaptation of the musical. Breaker is notably remembered for his role as Donkey in the original Broadway production of Shrek The Musical, performing alongside esteemed Broadway stars.
