Daniel Diemer is a Canadian actor born on June 21, 1996, in Brentwood Bay, British Columbia. He gained recognition for his role as Paul Munsky in the Netflix film The Half of It, directed by Alice Wu. Before his breakout role, Diemer had smaller appearances in TV shows such as The Man in the High Castle and Sacred Lies. Growing up, Diemer had a passion for sports and played soccer from a young age, even playing internationally at the age of 12. However, due to a growth spurt, he switched to tennis and played at the provincial level. Diemer also showcased his creativity by writing and publishing a children's book at the age of 12.
