Born to actor and writer Lou DiMaggio and actress Loretta Fox, DiMaggio began his acting career at the age of 8, appearing in commercials and short films. He has guest starred on popular shows like Burn Notice and Supergirl, and had a role in the film Daddy's Home 2. DiMaggio has also participated in Disney's Magic of Storytelling campaign, promoting children's literacy. As part of his role in American Housewife, he has been studying ballet. The show premiered in 2016 and ran for five seasons.
