Daniel Escobar

Daniel Richard Escobar (April 9, 1964 – December 13, 2013) was an American actor best known for his role as Mr. Escobar, a teacher on the Disney Channel TV series, Lizzie McGuire. Born in McAllen, Texas, Escobar had a notable career in television, appearing in various shows including Charmed, Curb Your Enthusiasm, NYPD Blue, and Malcolm in the Middle, among others. He also had a role as a waiter in the TV show Whitney in 2011. Unfortunately, Escobar passed away at the age of 49 in a Los Angeles hospital on December 13, 2013, due to complications from diabetes.
