Daniel Edwin Henshall is an Australian actor known for his breakthrough role in the film Snowtown, for which he won the AACTA Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role. Born on August 9, 1982, in Sydney, Australia, Henshall is the youngest of three children. He graduated from the full-time acting program at Actors Centre Australia in 2006. Henshall gained recognition for his performance as real-life serial killer John Bunting in Snowtown, which was praised by Indiewire as one of the best performances of 2012. He has also appeared in films such as These Final Hours, The Babadook, Acute Misfortune, and Catch the Fair One. Henshall's television credits include the BBC soap Out of the Blue.
