Daniel McVicar (born June 17, 1958) is an American actor, director, and writer. With a career spanning over 40 years in television and film, McVicar has appeared in more than 20 films and various American television shows. He was born in Independence, Missouri and raised in Broomfield, Colorado. McVicar studied at the California Institute of the Arts, Stella Adler Studio, The Beverly Hills Playhouse, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. From 1987 to 2009, he portrayed fashion designer Clarke Garrison on The Bold and the Beautiful. McVicar has also made recurring appearances on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and played Rock Hudson in the TV movie Liz: The Elizabeth Taylor Story. He starred as Captain William T. Bell in the 2010 film Maschi contro femmine directed by Fausto Brizzi.
