Daniel Portman

Daniel Portman, born February 13, 1992, is a Scottish actor best known for his portrayal of Podrick Payne in the television series Game of Thrones (2012–2019). He made his acting debut at the age of 16 and starred in various productions including Outcast (2010) and the Scottish soap opera River City. Portman also had a small role in the Scottish comedy film The Angels' Share. He later gained international recognition for his role in Game of Thrones. In addition to his work on the series, Portman appeared as Stuart in the Black Mirror episode 'Loch Henry' (2023). He attended Shawlands Academy and studied acting at Reid Kerr College in Paisley. Portman is the son of actor Ron Donachie and Fiona Biggar.
