Daniel Rigby

Daniel Rigby is an English actor and comedian. He was born on December 6, 1982, in Stockport, Greater Manchester. Rigby attended Cheadle Hulme School and later studied performing arts at Stockport College. He then went on to enroll at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Rigby started his career as a stand-up comedian, performing at various events and winning awards like the 2007 Laughing Horse New Act of the Year. He transitioned into television roles in 2007 with the BBC period drama Lilies. In 2011, Rigby received critical acclaim for his portrayal of Eric Morecambe in the BBC television film Eric and Ernie, winning a BAFTA TV Award for Best Actor.
