Daniel Sunjata Condon is an American actor known for his performances in film, television, and theater. Born on December 30, 1971, in Evanston, Illinois, he was raised in a suburb north of Chicago. Sunjata is the adopted son of Bill and Catherine Condon, and his adoptive parents are of Irish and Italian-German descent. He gained recognition for his role as Franco Rivera in the FX television series Rescue Me. Sunjata's passion for acting led him to graduate from the Graduate Acting Program at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. With a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, he also attended Florida A&M University. Throughout his career, Sunjata has showcased his talent and versatility across various mediums.
