Danielle Marie Campbell (born January 30, 1995) is an American actress known for her roles in various movies and TV shows. She gained recognition for starring as Jessica Olson in the 2010 Disney Channel Original Movie Starstruck, and as Simone Daniels in the 2011 Disney film Prom. Campbell also portrayed Davina Claire in the CW television drama series The Originals, which aired from 2013 to 2018. In 2018, she appeared in the CBS All Access television psychological thriller series Tell Me a Story, playing the characters Kayla Powell and Olivia Moon. Campbell was born in Hinsdale, Illinois, and began her acting career after being discovered in a hair salon in Chicago at the age of ten. She has also guest-starred in the TV show Prison Break and appeared in a nationwide commercial for Build-A-Bear Workshop. Additionally, she played the character of Darla in the 2008 movie The Poker House.
