Danielle Ferland Biography
Danielle Ferland (born January 31, 1971) is an American actress and singer. She made her Broadway debut at age 13 in Stephen Sondheim's Sunday in the Park with George (1984). Ferland originated the role of Little Red Riding Hood in Sondheim's musical Into the Woods (1987), for which she received the 1988 Theatre World Award and a nomination for the 1988 Drama Desk Award. She appeared in Woody Allen's Radio Days (1987) as the singing child star. Ferland attended Frank Scott Bunnell High School in Stratford, Connecticut, and later studied at New York University. Her other credits include off-Broadway productions and appearances in the PBS series American Playhouse.
