Danila Kozlovsky

Danila Valeryevich Kozlovsky (Данила Валерьевич Козловский) is a Russian actor and director. Born on May 3, 1985, in Moscow, Kozlovsky comes from a family with a background in the arts. His mother is a stage actress, and his father was a professor specializing in marketing and mass communications. Kozlovsky began his artistic training at a young age, taking dance and music classes and learning to play the saxophone and the alto. He made his screen debut in 1998 on the Russian television series Simple Truths, playing the role of the troubled sixth grader Denis. After graduating from the Kronshtadt Naval Military School in 2002, he pursued his passion for acting at the Saint Petersburg State Theatre Arts Academy.
