Danny Goldman Biography
Danny Goldman (October 30, 1939 – April 12, 2020) was an American actor and casting director. He gained recognition as the voice of Brainy Smurf in Hanna-Barbera's The Smurfs from 1981 to 1989. After graduating from Far Rockaway High School in Queens, New York City, in 1957, Goldman went on to attend and graduate from Columbia University in Manhattan in 1961. Throughout his career, he appeared in various television shows including That Girl, Room 222, The Partridge Family, Love, American Style, Columbo, Baretta, Chico and the Man, and was a regular member of the cast of the situation comedy Busting Loose in 1977. Goldman also had roles in Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer and Get Smart.
