Darby Stanchfield

Darby Stanchfield is an American actress known for her roles in various television series. Born on April 29, 1971, in Kodiak, Alaska, she grew up in a family of commercial fishermen. After living in Dutch Harbor and Mercer Island, she attended the University of Puget Sound, where she graduated with a degree in Communications and a minor in theater. Stanchfield started her career in theater and made her television debut in 2000. She gained recognition for her role as Abby Whelan in the ABC political drama series Scandal, which aired from 2012 to 2018. She also appeared as April Green in Jericho and Helen Bishop in Mad Men. In 2020, she began starring as Nina Locke in the Netflix series Locke & Key.
