D'Arcy Carden
D'Arcy Carden, born Darcy Beth Erokan on January 4, 1980, is an American actress and comedian known for her roles in various TV shows and films. She gained recognition for her starring role as Janet in the NBC sitcom The Good Place (2016–2020) and as Greta Gill in the Prime series A League of Their Own (2022). Carden received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her performance in The Good Place. She has also had recurring roles in Broad City (2014–2019) and Barry (2018–2023). Carden's career began in improvisational comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and she has made appearances on Inside Amy Schumer, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and Veep. Her film credits include Other People (2016), Let It Snow (2019), and Bombshell (2019). In 2023, she made her Broadway debut in The Thanksgiving Play.
