Darren Boyd Biography
Darren John Boyd (born 30 January 1971) is a British actor known for his work in both comedy and drama. He gained recognition for his role in the Sky 1 series Spy, for which he won a BAFTA Award. Boyd began his acting career in amateur theatre at the age of 17 and performed in local productions until 1995. In 1998, he was cast in the BBC comedy Kiss Me Kate, which ran for three years and led to starring roles in other British comedies such as Hippies and Smack the Pony. Boyd also worked on the off-beat sitcom Los Dos Bros, which he co-created and co-wrote. Additionally, he appeared in the American NBC series, Watching Ellie.
