Darren E. Burrows

Darren E. Burrows (born September 12, 1966) is an American actor and director. He is best known for his role as Ed Chigliak in the television series Northern Exposure. Burrows has also appeared in films such as Cry-Baby, Amistad, Sunset Strip, and Forty Shades of Blue. He made guest appearances in popular TV shows like The X-Files and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Born in Winfield, Kansas, Burrows is the son of actor Billy Drago and stepson to actress Silvana Gallardo. He spent part of his childhood in Aulne, Kansas. In 1995, Burrows and the Northern Exposure cast were nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
