Darrin Dewitt Henson (born May 5, 1973) is an American choreographer, dancer, actor, director, and producer. He gained recognition as a member of the freestyle music group Trilogy and was featured on their single 'Good Time.' Henson attended Prep for Prep, a non-profit organization aimed at preparing top minority students in New York City for success. He is best known for his instructional dance video 'Darrin's Dance Grooves' and his portrayal of Lem Van Adams in the Showtime TV series 'Soul Food' from 2000 to 2004. This series holds the record for the longest-running drama with a predominantly African-American cast in television history. Henson received two NAACP Image Award nominations for his role in the show.
