Darwin Shaw

Darwin Shaw is a British stage, film, and television actor, and director. Prior to his acting career, Shaw practiced as a medical doctor and graduated from King's College London. He later retrained as an actor at LAMDA in 2004 after studying theater in New York City. Born in Brampton, Cumbria, England, Shaw comes from a background of mixed culture and experiences. His father was born in Amritsar, with his paternal grandparents hailing from Kashmir and Afghanistan, while his mother is British, with a maternal grandfather who was a local vicar and related to Orde Wingate. Shaw's first professional role was in Deborah Warner's production of Julius Caesar at the Barbican Theatre, alongside notable actors such as Ralph Fiennes, Fiona Shaw, and Simon Russell Beale. He made his feature film debut as Fisher, James Bond's first kill.
