Dave Anthony

Dave Anthony is an American comedian, actor, screenwriter, and podcaster. Born on August 26, 1967, in Marin County, California, he is best known as the creator and co-host of the comedy podcast The Dollop, where he tells notable stories from American history to his friend and fellow comedian Gareth Reynolds. In addition to The Dollop, Anthony co-hosts The Past Times, a podcast where he reads historical papers to Reynolds and a special guest. Since 2019, he has also been co-hosting The Audit podcast with writer Josh Olson. Anthony grew up in Fairfax, California, and has Irish immigrant ancestors. He has a sister named Pam and experienced neglect during his childhood due to his parents' alcoholism.
