    Dave Eastgate is an Australian actor, stand-up comedian, writer, and musician. Born on January 31, 1979, in Gold Coast, Australia, he has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry. Dave starred in the highly acclaimed ABC/BBC/Comedy Central series, Ronny Chieng: International Student, and received a Logie Award nomination for his role as Joey, a cancer patient, in Channel 9's drama series, Doctor Doctor. He has also appeared in the sketch comedy series Open Slather alongside comedy legends such as Glenn Robbins, Magda Szubanski, Gina Riley, and Jane Turner. Dave's acting credits include A Moody Xmas, The Moody's, Maximum Choppage, Soul Mates, and Here Come The Habibs. In 2019, he completed over 300 shows with the Australian Tour of Muriel's Wedding the Musical, where he played the role of Swimming Coach Ken Blundell.
